Thick substance that provides an antibacterial, waterproof layer. Often used to plug holes in the hoof after poulticing to prevent re-infection.

Natural, thick vegetable tar maintains a healthy frog, sole and wall of the hoof. Traditional application, contains the antibacterial action of pine turpenes. Provides a waterproof, antibacterial barrier layer.
