Gentle but effective Neue Schule jointed snaffle: The NS Tranz mouthpiece is ergonomically designed for both comfort and communication.

The aim of Neue Schule bits is to optimise quiet communication between horse and rider to enhance performance.

Ergonomically designed, Neue Schule bits incorporate a unique warmer metal that promotes acceptance of the bit and helps to ensure that more relaxed communciation between horse and rider.

The tranz mouthpeice is designed for comfort and communication.  The mouthpiece promotes feel and responsiveness, encouraging a soft, sustainable contact.  Neue Schule bits work by pressing on the tongue in order to communicate, rather than pressing on the roof of the mouth, which although is an area that can be easily damaged, actually has much fewer nerves and so feels less than the tongue. When a contact is taken, the smoothly profiled lozenge and loops press gently down onto the centre of the tongue thus a higher level of communication through the rein is achieved.

Because the tranz mouthpiece is designed so that the lozenge and loops predominantly press down on the centre of the tongue, the more pressure sensitive side areas of the tongue are not under as much contact and so are relieved, making this a effective, but gentle bit.  16mm mouthpiece and 70mm rings
