Apple Mouth Full Cheek Jointed Bit

Full cheek jointed bit with an apple scented soft mouthpiece. Full cheek bits are often used in young horses, or those that benefit from help from the bit when turning as the bit exerts lateral pressure on the horse's mouth.  

Apple Mouth bits have an apple scented soft mouthpiece, which is non toxic. They feature a steel centre for security. This bits are generally very good to use on young horses, horses with delicate or soft mouths, or those that dislike a metal bit.

Please Note: These type of mouthpieces are not suitable for all horses. Care must be taken so that the bit is correctly fitted and the horse's teeth and mouth are in good condition. If the bit is chewed, sharp edges can be created and the bit should not be used again.
