Eggbutt Weymouth Snaffle

A small ring eggbutt bit that is used on a double bridle in conjunction with a curb bit (weymouth). The eggbutt is a mild snaffle bit which on some horses can be more comfortable than a loose ring snaffle as the rings cannot move and pinch the corners of the mouth. The cheek is fixed in relation to the mouthpiece, providing an element of lateral control - assisting in turning.
