Gelston Haylage

An excellent source of fibre, it is dust free and semi-moist, which helps prevent respiratory health disorders such as COPD and ensures your horse of pony is in top form. Specially packed to ensure it is air-tight so that it retains all the vital proteins, vitamins and minerals that er normally lost during traditional haymaking

Gelston Haylage is made from specially selected ryegrass's. The grass is wilted and then undergoes a mild fermentation process. This means that the grass maintains optimum nutrition whilst also being extremely palatable to the horse or pony. Making it ideal for fussy eater.

Harvested from the later cut ryegrass which has gained higher fibre but lower energy and protein levels.

This is ideal for horses in light work, good dooers and good for those that are resting or suffer from laminitis.
