Hit-Air vests are designed to be super-light weight and flexible - for ultimate comfort and freedom of movement, while providing optimal protection on inflation. The award winning air bag is triggered when the rider and horse become separated to provide a stabilising, shock buffering system for added protection to the neck, spine, chest, ribcage, lower back and vital organs. Please note, if competing cross country with an air jacket, you must also wear a body protector underneath.
We now have in stock the new MLV3-H Hit Air Pro Vest in adults sizes. This represents the latest lightweight, shock buffering air vest from Hit Air. The MLV3-H with neck protection has unique air bag construction for ultimate shock absorption and body coverage. The clever internal straps allow for adjustment over changing layers for hacking, schooling, eventing, showjumping and dressage.
The MLV3-H is CE Certified to the new European Horse Riding Standard CE NF572-800 2022
The design of the new air vest from Hit Air means that it can be worn over changing layers, making it suitable for all riding disciplines. The air vests are extremely flexible and offer comfort and freedom of movement while riding, whilst providing optimal protection on inflation. Hit air vests are also renowned for being outward inflating which removes the risk of winding on inflation.
The unique airbag construction exceeds the required CE Certification standards as the airbag is sandwiched between shock absorbing pads for enhanced shock absorption. The airbags also have optimal body coverage with unique neck brace style protection, rib air bags and coverage of the lower back in addition to the chest and spine.
The technical outer fabric has stood the test of time and is designed for year round wear in all seasons and can withstand the extreme forces of a fall.
Hit Air specialise in worn airbags both for the Equestrian and Motorcycle industry and have been operating for over 30 years. Annual Servicing is recommended and is carried out by a specialist, experienced team in the UK.
No protection can help riders in all circumstances but Hit Air vests are designed to reduce the risk of serious injuries to the areas covered on inflation.
An air jacket will only inflate if the rider is separated from their horse. For more complete protection, use a body protector underneath your air jacket over the top.
The junior air jacket is only suitable for riders with a minimum weight of 25kg.
