The Airowear Shadow Back Protector protects protection against impact for those riders who do not wish to wear a body protector and want a lighter, more discreet alternative. It is not intended to replace a body protector; it is not the standard that is required for cross country. However, for those riders who do not want to wear a body protector, it could be a useful safety option to provide protection against impact, whilst remaining unseen under a show jacket.

Please note, this Back Protector only has foam covering the back. It does not offer any protection to the front or ribs. It is an alternative for those who choose not wear a body protector, but is NOT intended for cross country and will not offer as much protection as a body protector.
