We are open and able to help and serve customers. However, we have changed our shop hours and practices, given the social distancing requirements.
1. Opening Hours
Our shop opening hours are
Monday - Saturday 9.30am - 5pm
2. Restricted number of customers in our shop
We ask customers to come into the shop in limited numbers - we think 2 customers at a time is right for the moment. Please use our hand sanitiser on entering and leaving the shop and maintain a distance of 2m between yourself and any other customers.
We are confident that we can now safely fit riding hats, body protectors, boots and all riding equipment to customers. We will wear a face mask, ensure we sanitize our hands before and after fitting equipment and ask our customers to do the same. We will also sanitize hats before placing them back in their box.
We are also able to accommodate customers who want a more remote service by conducting 2m hat fittings under the instruction of a trained hat fitter.
We are limiting the number of customers in our shop and ask any customer who is displaying any symptoms of Covid 19 not to come into our shop until they are well.
Our online shop is completely open. We will send orders as soon as possible - often on the same day, and will delivery for free locally.
We are fully stocked and are able to order any items that you wish us to order. We have anti-bacterial and anti-viral products for your yard.
We are also carrying out horse feed orders as usual, please let us know if you would like us to include you in our bi-weekly feed order.
In addition, we have a sale on our clothing - with 25% off new Spring lines and a saddle pad sale. You may not be able to go out to compete, but you may as well look super-smart anyway!
3. Saddler resuming yard visits
The Saddlers, Guy, is re-starting yard visits. If you need a saddler to visit you, please contact us at the shop - 01276 856738 between 10 and 2pm or email email@example.com and we can book an appointment or arrange for him to contact you.
In line with guidance for other tradespeople, Guy will ask for customers to maintain a 2m distance during the visit, he will sanitize his hands and equipment before and after each visit, and he will wear a face mask or visor.
If after you have made an appointment you start to feel unwell , please let us know and we can re-arrange your appointment.
4. Free home delivery
We will deliver locally for free, for orders over £25. Please call us, or use code LOCALFREE on our website.
