New for 2006/2007, the Commander turnout and under rug companion is far more than the sum of its parts.
Building On FAL Pro's famous layering system, the commander is a complete rugging system. The outer comprises a 1680 denier 200 gram waterproof and breathable rug with a zip off detachable neck. By adding the dedicated under rug the commander is transformed in to an ultra warm 400 gram turnout rug.
Flexibility is the keyword: this system provides a middle weight turnout rug, with or without a full neck, a heavy weight turnout with or without a full neck or a middle weight stable rug.
The beauty of this system is that the outer and under rugs are quite seperate and are designed to move independently of each other. Rugs that are attached to each other have a tendency to move in different directions, setting up stresses between the rugs.
